A merry, bright, and WAAwesome night
Raring to reconnect after the pandemic lockdowns, about a thousand Luzon-based employees gathered for WAAwesome Musikachill
HAVING fun with colleagues, meeting new work friends, listening to awesome performers live, and feasting on free street food and beer—these are a few of our favorite things.
After Ayala Group employees in Cebu and Iloilo enjoyed the WeAreAyala Business Club festivities, Luzon-based employees gathered for WAAwesome Musikachill, the first-ever WeAreAyala groupwide event in Manila.
Hosted by Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) Senior Vice President for Consumer Bank Marketing Mariana Zobel de Ayala, Ayala Corporation Head of Business Development and Digital Innovation Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala, and ACEN Assistant Vice President for International Business Development Jaime Urquijo, the event saw Ayala Group employees coming together last November 18 at the Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati to let their hair down, welcome the holiday season, and have fun the Ayala way. Ayala Corporation President and CEO Bong Consing also joined the fun and wished the WeAreAyala community a merry holiday season.
This, after being cooped up in their own bubbles to stay safe during the pandemic, gave the WeAreAyala community an opportunity to reconnect and spark new connections with colleagues from across the group in person.
Free street food filled tummies, and free beer gave that extra edge to a memorable and WAAwesome night. The ongoing Ayala Land Festival of Lights and Sounds sprinkled more Christmas dust on attendees, making WAAwesome Musikachill even more festive. Although there was some rain during the event, employees kept dancing the night away to DJ Agnes’ tunes, bobbing their heads and swaying to Lola Amour’s upbeat songs, and singing their hearts out to Pinoy favorite Rivermaya’s hits.
